Drawing from experiences of mental health, ARTiculatIon explores language as a failing system that is unable to coherently articulate the translucency of unexpressed thought. The work is self-reflexive, seeking to communicate personal thoughts and emotions that are uncomfortable and confusing; a representation of thoughts, emotions, ideas, memories and feelings that are difficult to express. Seemingly haphazard in their installation, each component of the work is considered and process driven in its making, mirroring anxious moments of over-thought.
